What&Tik provides inventory and live-sale tracking for Whatnot and TikTok Live sellers. This policy explains what the What&Tik web app and the What&Tik Bridge browser extension collect and how it is used.
What the extension does
The What&Tik Bridge extension runs on your own whatnot.com live page. When an auction you are hosting closes, it reads the publicly displayed result — the winning buyer's username, the sale price, the auction number — and an optional proof screenshot of the page, and sends them to your What&Tik account so the sale is recorded automatically. It activates only on your own broadcast.
Information we process
- Your account email and (optionally) name and phone number, used to sign you in.
- Your Whatnot @username, used so the extension captures only your show.
- Auction sale data (buyer username, price, auction number, proof screenshot).
- A private account token that links the extension to your workspace.
How it is used
Data is used solely to provide the service — recording your sales and inventory in your own workspace. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except the infrastructure providers that run the service (hosting and database). Each account's data is isolated from every other account.
Storage & permissions
The extension stores its settings (your account token, username, and on/off preference) locally in your browser. It requests access only to whatnot.com and the What&Tik site — nothing else. You can turn capture off at any time from the extension, and remove the extension to stop all processing.
